Candidates with 8+ Years’ experience
- Identify and manage gaps and provide solutions within the Retail stream specific to POS Sales into POS DM/CAR and outbound into SAP Retail/FMS/any other Legacy systems
- Manage and Conduct CAR/POS DM process configuration
- Maintaining and updating all SAP CAR/POS DM functional documentation (Design Specifications, Configuration documents, Test Scripts, etc.)
- Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, system Integration including defect fixes
- Proactively proposing solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
- Support the business team with issues resolution and provide a solutions-based approach
- SAP POS DM experience including SAP CAR experience with integration experience to Finance, Retail, and Legacy systems.
- Expert and hands-on experience with POS system integration using SAP Retail and SAP CAR, especially areas around POS DM/DTA and other integration with other SAP Core modules
- Must have POSDM/CAR experience; key areas being addressed
- Understanding of configuration of SAP POSDM Business transaction types: Sales, Financials, Totals, Inventory, and Reversals
- Understanding of SAP CAR POSDTA
- Understanding of SAP POSDM Sales Audit functionality
- Ability to read XML data structures for retail point of sale transaction data, and create SAP mapping specifications to convert the XML POS data into the necessary RFC structures for SAP POS DM
- In-depth understanding of ALE/IDOC processing to pass data from SAP POSDM/CAR into SAP Retail/FMS
- In-depth understanding of the SAP POS DM Pipe processing module
- Good Understanding of Retail business processes and having good communication skills
- Experience in Managing the Design and Configuration of SAP CAR/POS DM.
- Manage Multichannel sales repository e.g., collect data from all sales channels spread across multiple siloed applications in diverse formats, audit and manage sales transactions coming from point-of-sale systems, gain real-time insight into sales performance, revenue, and gross margin across channels
- Support Replenishment planning e.g., reduce waste with cost-optimal ordering, including prediction of stock spoilage, respond to changes in demand with intraday forecast and replenishment, simulate and review your order plans and obtain insights on associated KPIs
- Support Assortment planning e.g., support flexible process- and information-driven planning across retail formats – tightly integrated with merchandise planning budgets, rank products by weighting their ranking against chosen KPIs and business roles to consider real-world requirements and limitations, integrate space for assortment and planogram optimization
- Support Allocation management e.g., trigger initial allocation of seasonal products based on actual and planned availability, latest demand forecast, target settings, and business KPIs, enable fully automated in-season replenishment, allocate promotional merchandise based on promotional forecast, store inventory, and capacity
Support Promotion management and omnichannel pricing e.g., design promotions and offers in-line with customer preferences and financial objectives, create what-if simulations to predict financial performance and leverage vendor funding to maximize margins from trade funds, enable consistent calculation of consumer prices and promotional offers for each basket at any touch point.
